DESCRIPTION Capsicum oleoresin is mainly produced by solvent extraction from the ripe, green fruits of Capsicum annum resp.capsicum frutescens L. After extarction the solvent is completely removed. It is a viscous liquid with dark, green color, spicy odour and an extreme hot and burning taste. COMMON NAMES Rose Hip Oil, Chilli Pepper, Red or Green Pepper, or SweetPepper CONSTITUENTS Capsaicin content: aprox. 0.5 % Solvent residue: max. 10 ppm Solvent: Hexane/ Isopropylalcohol USES Capsicum-Oleoresin can be used for spice and seasoning mixes, for meats, sausages and other food preparations. |
